The India Stopover of the Volvo Ocean Race has seen ten days of celebrations and activities, showcasing the artistic wealth of Kerala and India through a wide range of classical, folk and ritual art forms. The 2nd Leg of the Volvo Ocean Race ‘08 is the first time in this prestigious and ultimate race that the race has visited Asia.

Almost all the teams have arrived or soon will be arriving in Kochi (India) as the 2nd leg stopover of the 37,000 nautical mile ocean race. The 8 teams will be receiving a low key welcome due to the recent terror attacks that took place in India.
