Day 2 was smooth sailing with a lot of close-quarters racing between the teams of Farokh and Mahesh.

Compared to Day 1, today’s proceedings started sooner and at the same time completed with complete results…and no issues were caused due to tides.

Day 1 of the ISAF Nations Cup was an exciting beginning with the Round Robin matches springing up a few pleasant surprises…
The day’s proceedings and the races were to start at 11:30am but due to wind conditions, the Flights of races started 2:00pm onwards…and the zeal and energy that was demonstrated by the sailors covered-up for the delay.

The pairings were drawn on a fair draw…and in order to match sailboats and to ensure that the only factor that was important to win was the team – the umpires came up …

Get your Hobie-Cats and even your Jet-Skis…or let’s even have the next Laser Nationals here…errmmm that last bit seems like going over-board.

Ladies and Gentlemen…though swimming-pools don’t really come much into the scheme of all things yachting (unless they are on-board)…this is one special swimming pool that makes Chile proud.

If you like doing laps in the swimming pool, you might want to stock up on the energy drinks before diving in to this one.
