New Year Eve – Parties On Yachts In Mumbai To Be HIT..!

Tipplers who wished to party on boats on New Year’s Eve will have to postpone their plans. A senior excise officer said that keeping in mind the constant security threat to Mumbai through sea, the Indian Navy has asked the Maharashtra state excise department to extend the decision they had taken last year after 26/11 and not issue liquor permits to boat owners this year too.

Damage Caused At Windermere Marina Village!

Around twenty boats moored at Windermere Marina Village had sunk last month due to the floods.
The affected boats were all attached to fixed piers at the site.
Unlike boats tethered to floating buoys, they were unable to rise and fall with the changing water levels.
Some boats were fully submerged while others were sticking out the water.
