A New Boat Show Proposed For Mumbai In Feb 2010- IMF

The Indian Marine Federation (IMF) is in the advanced stages of planning for a three-day promotional event in Mumbai next year to stimulate interest in leisure boating in India.
The proposed dates for the event are February 5, 2010 for a trade networking forum and February 6-7 for the boat show. A venue for the event has yet to be chosen, but plans are for a central Mumbai location. Sponsors for both the conference and the boat show will be confirmed shortly.

South Korean Boat Show Cancelled Due To Swine Flu

The South Korean government has cancelled 291 events including Yacht and Boat Korea scheduled for 29 October to 1 November, over fears of the growth of influenza H1N1, commonly known as Swine Flu.
In late August the World Health Organisation (WHO) advised countries in the northern hemisphere to prepare for a second wave of the pandemic spread.
International Marketing Consultant Barry Jenkins said Yacht and Boat Korea had no choice but to cancel the 2009 event given national guidelines.

Worlds Finest Sign Up For Dubai Boat Show 2010

Burger Boat Company, Trinity Yachts, and Westport are among the latest superyacht builders to confirm their presence in the new, dedicated, Superyacht Pavilion at next year’s Dubai International Boat Show. Back in July superyacht builder Amels also confirmed its place in the Pavilion.
