MIBS 2010 18 – 21st Feb – And So It Begins

And so it begins… clearing all doubts, uncertainties and misconceptions, the MIBS 2010 has launched successfully on the 18^th of Feb 2010. As a yearly routine the MIBS launched with a preview night for VIP’s by invitation only. The VIP preview also accompanied an elaborate fashion show, showcasing some of India’s leading designers.

From Jet ski’s, Kayaks, wake boards, Outboads, yachts, mega yachts and even yacht rentals are all available under one roof at the MIBS. There are also some nifty yacht toys available like the Sea Bob available at the boat show.

New Entrants –

MIBS 2010 has received a good response from quite a few new fist time exhibitors from the Indian yachting industry. Even yachting associations and clubs like the YAI and RBYC have made their presence felt at the Mumbai Boat show. Companies like Fibroplast Marine, foretop boats and many more manufactures as well as yacht toy retailers can be seen with sizeable stalls at the boat show.

As per the previous year there have been many international companies like ocenstyles, Technomar are participating at the boat show. However some old horses of the industry have been missing at the largest boat show of India.

The crowd response has been good for the 1^st two days of the boat show, the crowd in terms of numbers is limited but in terms of quality and consumer spending power the media and pr agency have done an excellent job in ensuring quality customers at the boat show.
