Williams Performance Tenders introduce the Turbojet 505D, designed to be the lightest and most compact fully-equipped diesel yacht tender available today. Combining the smooth, safe ride of a RIB with the power of a jet, the Turbojet 505D is great for waterskiing or coastal cruising away from a parent yacht. It is also a superb standalone sportsboat that is easy to trail and launch.

A culmination of five years’ of specialist jet tender development, the craft is a progression of Williams’ design excellence and practical attention to detail. Marking the next generation of Williams tenders, it offers owners a production tender that can be customised to their individual style and taste. With 30 different tube colours, a choice of upholstery fabrics and colours and unlimited GRP colour matching, Williams provides a new level of customisation.

Fitted with a 110hp Yanmar diesel engine, the 5.05m craft can reach 35 knots, has great stability on and off the plane, and can carry seven passengers.

It features a high torque jet pump specifically designed for the Yanmar engine, providing optimum performance whilst maintaining a smooth ride. This bespoke system offers superb handling, excellent thrust for load carrying and precise low-speed manoeuvrability. It is very durable, reliable and resilient to corrosion. The Turbojet 505D features big boat technology, including a power-assisted reverse system. This user-friendly, responsive system offers the driver more control over the craft and is very safe, allowing the RIB to stop at speed. The jet tender features a unique underwater exhaust system to keep noise to a minimum.

The ergonomic layout of the helm provides ample space for full engine instrumentation, a chart plotter and VHF. Located at the rear, it has the added safety benefit of allowing the pilot a view of everyone onboard. The Turbojet 505D has two forward bench seats with extra seating on the tubes, storage bags under seats and folding backrests providing supported seating. The wet locker has a removable canvas bag, which is easy to transport. The craft also has several safety features including well positioned strap handles and boarding poles. The central seat has armrests that flip inwards to cradle the passenger – a great safety feature for children onboard.

Optional extras include overall covers, bimini tops, music systems, LED lighting and a bespoke bow spray protector.
