28th International Boat Show – ISTANBUL
Ranking in the first five countries in the international arena, particularly in mega yacht building, Turkey forges ahead at full speed to be the most outstanding maritime country of the world. Many great shipyards of Europe either are situated or take part in joint ventures in Turkey, hosting every tone of blue with its 8.400 km long shoreline, for mega yacht building. As Istanbul, Antalya and Bodrum shipyard zones are in full flow to be a world brand, the number of ships launched every year is also quite impressive.
Rising star of the global maritime industry, Turkey only needs a marketing campaign to enhance all of these enterprises and developments. The 28th International Istanbul Boat Show sets sail to present this marketing opportunity to the Turkish maritime culture.
More than 200 companies have exhibited over 600 national and international brands. Other symbols of a high quality, luxurious life stylesuch as automobiles, watches, jewelry and champagnes is also exhibited at the show. Boats, motor yachts, mega yachts, sailboats, from 3 to 58 meters, has turned Istanbul International Boat Show 2009 into an unforgettable feast of marine world.
As this show also aims to encourage sea and marine culture as a life style, there are few fun activities for children in order to introduce them into this new and exciting world. They will be able to gain some basicinformation on seamanship through these activities.
