Pershing At The Genoa Boat Show

Press Release -
This year too, Pershing, well-known Italian yacht brand and part of Ferretti Group will respond punctually to the appointment with the most important nautical fair in our country, the Genoa Boat Show, to be held from 3rd to 11th October 2009. The shipyard will be attending the event both optimistically and with interesting product innovations in its production lines.

A continuous drive towards innovation, important investments in R&D, the brand’s becoming increasingly better known on new markets and winning sales strategies in Italy, have all contributed to increasing Pershing’s prestige, despite the contraction of the international nautical market.

“This year too, the strong personality and unmistakeable design of Pershing yachts have achieved important acknowledgements on foreign markets, winning privileged openings on new markets such as Montenegro, India, Thailand and Angola. In a virtuous circle, the brand’s progressive penetration on foreign markets has created new stimuli, permitting the shipyard to take innovative routes in order to further expand on the international market,” stressed Tilli Antonelli, President and Founder of Pershing.

The same, positive trend is also clear in the statements made by Salvatore Moracasso, Chairman of Stardom, exclusive dealer for Pershing in Italy, who commented on the results achieved during the last nautical year as follows: “Clearly going against the tide of the nautical sector, Stardom has registered a positive trend, with 31 yachts sold in Italy, and a turnover of over 35 million Euro. A satisfactory balance, undoubtedly achieved thanks to both the strength and image of Pershing, one of the most prestigious brands in the nautical world, and its product quality, a synonym for innovation, research and design”.

Pershing will be showing its entire fleet at the 49th Genoa International Boat Show, bar flagship Pershing 115′: the elegant Pershing 90′, a yacht with the look and character of a megayacht; the new P80′, featuring a racy profile and skilfully designed interior layout; the innovative Pershing 72′, a forerunner which set the standards for her category; the highly valued Pershing 64′, featuring an extremely modern design and super sporty performance; the original Pershing 56′, with her intense performance and generous comfort; the versatile Pershing 50′, with her clearly sporty stamp, which does not mean renouncing to on-board elegance; the extraordinary Pershing 46′, featuring an excellent performance and on-board liveability in just 16 metres, distinctive traits of the entire Pershing fleet.

And that’s not all. Alongside the 7 models of the fleet lovers of the sea will be able to visit in the Ferretti Group exhibition areas in Genoa, a new ambitious project was recently presented to the press, namely Pershing 108′, a luxury yacht designed by the hand of designer Fulvio De Simoni and farsightedness of Chairman and Founder of the shipyard, Tilli Antonelli. The yacht, whose strong points are her versatility, performance and elegant detail, can boast consolidated partnerships with companies such as Poltrona Frau, and new, exclusive working relationships with those such as ErnestoMeda, proving the shipyard’s increasing commitment to innovation, research and development.
