CIM Ocean Voyager 62 – Muscat to Mumbai
Gildas and Julian, the 2-man crew on board the CIM Shipyard Ocean Voyager 62 FAST, were in for a thrill of their lifetime when they were delivering the 62′ performance catamaran to Mumbai from Muscat.
Both sailors took up sailing as a passion when they were as young as 5 years old…and they have had a lot of experience sailing the high seas and oceans – both independently and together as a team.
The trip from Muscat to Mumbai, which was bound to take almost 8 days in ‘normal’ conditions was a surprising quick one for the duo – thanks to favorable winds and crests of waves that allowed them to surf their 62 feet catamaran briskly…and land in the Bombay High seas in 3 and a half days flat.
