In our previous article of a shadow yacht we had explained what it is and what it does. Today we get inside one of these mega vessels to have a closer look on what they really have to offer. If you thought these are just garage spaces then you better keep reading on to know the true potential of a shadow yacht.

For the ones who missed out click here to read about the basics of a shadow yacht.

Today we cover the ‘Allure’ built by Shadow Marine, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., who is the main builder of shadow yachts, and they’ve sold two already — both to Middle Eastern clients. Shadow Marine is the first company in the world to specialize in the design and construction of mega-yacht support vessels (shadowmarine.com).

This 2220 feet shadow yacht has a wide beam of 40feet and has a cursing speed of 10knots with a range of over 10,000 nautical miles.

The Allure is much plusher than the earlier versions. Replacing the garage-like décor is an interior complete with six staterooms, a pool, sky lounge, theater, game room and mini gym. Yes you read it right… a sky lounge theater and game room… all what a yacht owner could require at anytime.. and after all the lounging and eating one can even hit the mini gym installed on the shadow yacht.

Features of the Allure –

A Swimming pool
Mini Gym
Theater
Sky lounge
Game room
Bar area
Six staterooms
Dining table
Reading area
IT room
Balconies to guest cabins
Steam / Sauna area…

… and above all it has a helipad and has storage space for boats. WOW!! After seeing the interiors i am sure that one wouldn’t mind just making such a shadow yacht the main yacht itself. Below is the picture of the stateroom.

Aside from carrying toys, the 200-foot Allure can also host a floating party, since it’s equipped to hold as many as 500 people. The hangar bay can easily be converted into a climate-controlled nightclub complete with DJ booth. Shadow Marine calls the resulting craft an “SUV,” or sport utility vessel, clearly hoping to ride the Escalade craze among the rich.

Humm… may be it wouldn’t be a bad idea getting one of these in India as it can take a lot of people and can also serve as a yacht for guests and parties. Let us know your thoughts.
By the way the Allure sells for about $35 million.
