How do you plan to use your boat?
Do you want to use it for relaxing? Having parties ? You plan to go fishing or on long excursions? May be a trip to Alibuagh or some nearby coastal place. This question will help in identifying the size and type of boat required. For e.g. if you would be doing more than 40 nautical miles covering coasts you would surely require something above a 50feet yacht. If you just need it for cursing the harbor then you can look into a smaller boat.
How often will you use the boat?
Once a week, daily, once a quarter? As a yacht buyer you need to know the usage of your boat. If you would be a regular user you would ideally want to look into something more economical. Remember… the larger the boat the higher the maintenance cost.The main advantage one derives from this parameter is that it helps in identifying the reselling cost of the boat as well as gives you some room to make your boat a money churning vehicle.
Is it just the 2 of you or a family of four? And if you are an Indian family there are likely chances that you would like to take the entire gang to come along. It’s a simple thumb rule… the higher the number of guests the larger the boat unless you plan to make a floating restaurant.
